Applications are read by Worker-Members of the co-op you are applying to. Selected applicants are invited to talk, then to a three-month trial period as a Creative-Member, before membership is decided.

Our federation Manifesto, Principles, and Code of Conduct are guiding documents for everything that our organization does. By checking this message, you signify that you have read these documents and are aligned with them.

As of 02/2025 — due to a lack of revenue generation — this is NOT work that pays full-time or part-time wages, but that instead pays stipends. Where funds are available, we distribute them prioritizing the various needs of our members according to a profit-sharing model democratically decided upon by the entire organization. 400M is still a collective labor of love where funds donated from others are largely going toward infrastructure-building first so that we can afford to pay ourselves regular wages in the future. By checking this message, you signify that you understand this about our current operations.
